Pony back riding lessons

Our pony riding program offers children a fun and educational experience where they can learn about horses and how to care for them. Our experienced instructor, Ing. Martina Maršíková, has a master's degree in agricultural engineering and has worked with animals in England and New Zealand. She will teach your child how to ride the ponies and how to take care of them, including grooming, feeding, and cleaning their stalls.

Learning

ICS uses Jolly Phonics, a fun way to learn English through 42 sounds and their representations. This method benefits children with learning difficulties and complements the Elkonin's Method used in Czech lessons. Elkonin's Method focuses on phonemic awareness, helping children understand the sound structure of words. The method is divided into two stages, with the first teaching children to grasp reading based on spoken sounds without involving letters.

Farm excursions

Embark on a farm-tastic adventure every other week with our preschool's educational farm visits! Every two weeks, we proudly transport our little explorers to this nurturing haven, where they'll engage in hands-on activities with farm animals. We indulge in the simple pleasures of farm life, witnessing the daily rhythms of feeding and caring for the animals, gain valuable insights into the delicate balance of nature.
We also offer animal care programs that teach children about the lifecycle of rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, and geese.

Our culinary program

In our culinary adventures, our young chefs will master the art of using various kitchen tools and techniques, transforming the humble kitchen into an exciting playground of flavors. We strive to instill in them the understanding that food is not merely a product we purchase from a grocery store but rather a journey of creativity and joy, from planning a menu to savoring the fruits of their labor.

Captivating natural park

Our school's location in a stunning natural park allows us to immerse ourselves in nature on a daily basis. We take advantage of this valuable resource by spending ample time outdoors, exploring the fields, lake, mountains, and streams that surround us. Additionally, we have the privilege of observing a variety of wildlife in our vicinity. While enjoying the outdoors, our students also develop their gross motor skills, engaging in activities such as running, hopping, skipping, and jumping.

Immersive gardening experience

Children will embark on an enriching journey of nurturing life, from planting seeds to tending to their growth. They'll witness the transformation of tiny seeds into vibrant plants, fostering a deeper understanding of nature's nurturing power. Through this hands-on experience, they'll learn about the various types of plants, distinguishing between those that grow on stems and those that sprout from the soil. Since caring for the planet matters, we grow our own veggies, support local greengrocers, and choose seasonal foods.
